内容提要 古代西亚地区法律教育是美索不达米亚法系的重要组成部分，它是伴随着 美索不达米亚文明的产生而逐渐形成的。与其他古代文明发源地相比较，古代西亚地区拥 有最早的楔形文字及泥板、最早的学校教育，这些都是法律教育在古代西亚学校教育中生 成并存续的外在条件。除此之外，这一地区法律观念、法律渊源与法律教育的生成与发展 也存在着极为密切的关系，可以说古代西亚地区朴素的法律观念和比较成熟的法律制度是 萌发法律教育的内在基础。古代西亚地区因此成为人类法律教育的发源地，其法律教育有 着自己的鲜明特色。本文拟从法律教育传播的媒介、法律传授的场所及法律教育的贡献等 层面，追溯这一地区法律教育的印迹，探求对当下中国法律教育改革的启示。

Abstract: The legal education of the ancient Western Asia is an important part of Mesopotamia law system，and it is gradually formed along with Mesopotamia civilization． Compared with other birthplaces of ancient civilization，the ancient Western Asia has the earliest cuneiform，clay tablets and the earliest school educations，which are all the external conditions for the legal education to generate and exist in the ancient west Asia’s school education． Except that，the generating and development of the legal concept，legal source and legal education have very close relations，we can say that the simple legal concept and mature legal system of ancient Western Asia are the inner basis of birth of legal education． Thus， ancient Western Asia became the birthplace of legal education of human，and the legal education has its own outstanding characteristic． This article analysis the legal education of ancient west Asia from the aspects of the spreading media of legal education，the place for teaching law and the contribution that the legal education had made，and seeks the enlightenment of the present Chinese legal education reform．
