内容提要 合同编是民法典的重要组成部分，是规范市场交易活动，保护市场经济有序 运行的基础性法律制度。本文从纵向和横向两个维度，揭示合同编的重大发展和创新：纵向 与原合同法相比，横向与国外合同法律制度相比。文章归纳总结了合同编在体例结构、价值 理念、时代特征、鼓励交易和完善重大制度五个方面的重大发展和创新。

Abstract: The Part of Contracts is an important part of the Civil Code. It is the fundamental legal system to standardize market trading activities, and protect the orderly operation of the market economy. This paper reveals the significant development and innovation of the Part of Contracts from the vertical and horizontal dimensions: vertically comparing with the original contract law, and horizontally comparing with foreign contract legal system. The paper summarizes the major development and innovation of the Part of Contracts from five aspects, including style, value concept, characteristics of the times, encouraging trading and perfecting the major system.
